Rumours can rest now, Ranbir Kapoor and Shruti Haasan are NOT dating

Ranbir Kapoor has been all over news this year for his break-up with Katrina Kaif. Now, recently there were also murmurs that Ranbir has found love in Shruti Haasan. 
Reports suggested that there was a spark between the two actors when they were shooting for ad together recently. But now, Bollywoodlife.com has dismissed all such rumours.
A source close to Ranbir told them, "No way! Ranbir and Shruti are not dating. They are just friends. Ranbir is pretty happy being single and is not looking out to get into any serious relationship right now. Same goes for Shruti"
Guess all the rumours can rest now. What say, guys?

Ranbir Kapoor opens up about Katrina Kaif: 4 statements he made post break-up

Ranbir Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, has been in the news off late for his break-up with Katrina Kaif.
A lot has been spoken about their personal lives in the media; however, not once have either of them discussed the matter on a public platform. In an interview with senior journalist Rajeev Masand, the Jagga Jasoos actor opened up about his break-up with Katrina Kaif and made four frank statements. This is what he had to say:

Whatever I say on any platform (about his break-up with Katrina) it will be misinterpreted by many people. It is very awkward for me to discuss what my relationship with Katrina is in front of the media because after my parents she has been the most inspirational entity in my life. I don't want to speak about it but there is no negativity or sense of bitterness between us."

Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma all set to shoot romantic rain sequence

Get ready for the sizzling chemistry of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma as they are all set to shoot for a romantic rain sequence  for their upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
The picture that is making rounds on the social media shows the set where the romantic song would be filmed.
The film which is being directed by Karan Johar, would mark the third film of Ranbir and Anushka. The two had earlier worked together in films PK and Bombay  Velvet.

The upcoming film, which also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Fawad Khan and Lisa Haydon, has been shot in beautiful London.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is slated to hit the theatres on October 28 this year.
Apart from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen sharing space with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif in Jagga Jasoos. The two will be seen romancing each other in the film. This will be their first movie together after their alleged break-up. The movie has been extensively shot in Morocco and their pictures and videos from shooting locations were doing the rounds of social media platforms.
Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, who garnered immense appreciation for her role of wrestler named Aarfa in Salman Khan starrer Sultan, will be seen in her second home production Phillauri opposite Udta Punjab actor Diljit Dosanjh. The team has recently wrapped the shoot of the film and it is slated to release on March 31 next year.

It’s a treat to work with Ranbir Kapoor: Fawad Khan

Fawad Khan has gradually found a ground for himself in Bollywood. He is only two-films old, and yet, he has been able to create acceptance for himself within the industry and among the audience. His success can be gauged by the kinds of projects he is taking up. For instance, he will soon be seen in film-maker Karan Johar’s next, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. Salman Khan’s production house is also in talks with him for a movie.


A while ago, the actor finished shooting for Karan’s film. Last year, during the first schedule, he hardly spent time with his co-star, Ranbir, as they only shot together for three to four days in Austria. Fawad is Ranbir’s fan, and has enjoyed watching all his films. He was, therefore, looking forward to spending more time with him. For the second schedule, which took place in March, the two filmed in Rajasthan.

Neetu Singh Celebrates Birthday With Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir And Riddhima

Celebrations are in full swing in the Kapoor clan as actress Neetu Singh, who turned 58 on July 8, celebrated her birthday with her family on Friday. Neetuji shared a picture from the party on Instagram.

The picture features Neetuji's husband, actor Rishi Kapoor, son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, daughter Riddhima and her husband Bharat Sahni and their daughter Samara. A complete family picture.
Neetu Singh, star of films like Kabhi Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Khel Khel Mein and Doosra Aadmi, married Rishi Kapoor in 1980. They have two children together - Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, 35 and Ranbir Kapoor, 33.

Neetu Singh was last seen in 2013's Besharam which also featured Ranbir, Rishi Kapoor and Pallavi Sharda.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor: What's brewing between these exes?

Ranbir Kapoor, who broke up with Katrina Kaif earlier this year, seems to have found a friend in ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for XXX The Return Of Xander Cage, was in Mumbai for a few days, and made it a point to visit Ranbir.

On Friday (March 18) night, Deepika dropped in to meet Ranbir at his Bandra residence. As per reports, Deepika was unaccompanied by anyone else, and she was with Ranbir for about an hour. The exes, who were last seen together on the silver screen in the November 2015 release Tamasha, share a good rapport and continue to be great friends.

Ranbir and Deepika began dating on the sets of the 2008 film Bachna Ae Haseeno. After being in a relationship for a while, the two parted ways. Ranbir was in a relationship with Katrina Kaif after that, till about a few months ago.

The grapevine is also abuzz with stories of Ranbir calling up Deepika in Toronto, Canada, on the sets of her Hollywood film XXX The Return Of Xander Cage and speaking to her for hours.

Apart from Bachna Ae Haseeno and Tamasha, Ranbir and Deepika have worked together in the 2013 blockbuster Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Ranbir Kapoor knows what tattoo he wants

There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who are allergic to getting inked, while others who are addicted to tattoos and are always planning what their next tat will be. To be honest, there is a third kind as well. Those who are not sure if they will ever get inked, but they know if and when they do, what they do want. Ranbir Kapoor falls in that category.

Ask him if he will ever get a tattoo and he is smart enough to know never to say never and says, “I don’t think so. But I have thought about it.” Not only has he thought about it, he has even decided that if he crosses over to the other side, what it will be. In fact, he almost got it done. He confesses, “I was contemplating getting it, but whoever I spoke to dissuaded me. It was an outliner of Chaplin, like a small tiny one, that’s it. But let’s see... never say never.”
Ranbir’s fascination with Chaplin is not new. He played Chalu Chaplin in Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani where he did use the iconic comedian’s style and mannerisms. While filming Barfi, in which he plays a deaf and a mute guy, he confessed that he drew inspiration from Charlie Chaplin. The Kapoor lad has been a fan of the cinematic legend  ever since he was a young boy. So it’s only apt that he gets the tattoo of his hero!

Although Chaplin is one of the most respected actors and filmmakers in the world, the RK connection goes beyond that of a celebrity and an admirer. The connection dates back to his grandfather Raj, who projected himself as India’s Chaplin. Raj imitated Chaplin’s gestures, facial expressions, and movements and created a screen persona that captured the imagination of cine-goers. Chaplin made a film called The Tramp, Raj Kapoor made a film called Awara (tramp). Raj Kapoor’s magnum opus, Mera Naam Joker can be seen as a reworking of Chaplin’s Limelight: both are passionately emotional films about clowns whose hearts break as they suffer to make audiences laugh.
